GreenMoney Journal - publishing since 1992

Winter 2009/10 issue

GreenMoney's Best Articles 1992-2004
Cliff Feigenbaum and Ted Ketcham

This issue is about looking back

INTRODUCTION

Until now, GreenMoney has focused time and energy looking ahead in order to build a wide foundation of SRI knowledge. But we think, after more than 12 years, it's time to repeat at least some of that which bears repeating . . .

We enjoyed memory lane. Since 1992, our heart-driven goal has been to help people make money while creating a more positive future, from the supermarket to the stockmarket. These articles were instrumental in helping us achieve that goal.

So enjoy eight of our favorite “Best of” articles, from leaders like William McDonough, Barbara Krumsiek, Gary Hirshberg, Jean Pogge, and many others.

You may notice a few things missing in this issue. In truth, we wanted to make room for all of our favorites, so we took out some regular features and just went with inspirational and thought-provoking articles. Be assured that the regular features (Publishers Note, Calendar and our Mutual Fund chart) will be back better then ever in our Spring 2005 issue.

Also we have included many more of our favorite past articles at GreenMoney.com, which has been online since 1995, the list begins with the original dialogue on SRI from 2003 between Paul Hawken and Amy Domini, and an insightful interview with Kenny Ausubel and Nina Simons of the Bioneers.

The GreenMoney Interview: Kenny Ausubel and Nina Simons of the Bioneers
Editor's Note: I was excited to interview two of the hardest working and heart centered people in the progressive community, Kenny Ausubel and Nina Simons. As founders of the Bioneers Conference and network, Kenny and Nina have helped many important conversions from healthcare reform to sustainable agriculture happen. We have been friends since the beginning of GreenMoney in 1992 and I have attended almost every Bioneers conference since, always with great anticipation before and valuable inspiration after.
