Publishers Note: The World View
Cliff Feigenbaum

Welcome to Issue 51 of the GreenMoney Journal. Normally, publications celebrate their 50th, but we were too busy with completely redesigning our Spring "SRI" issue to take much notice. So we start on our next 50, with a vow not to miss celebrating number 100.

Do tell us what you'd like to see in the coming issues.

Speaking of our new design, Issue 50 (Spring 2004) has received rave reviews from readers across the country. We are pleased as well, and now our designers at Ranch 7 have done it again with this Summer issue. Another, well… cool part of working with Ranch 7 is GreenMoney's new print ad campaign. Their team has created some great promotions for us including the corporate "Watchdog" ad (see below). We are running a variety of ads in larger progressive publications like Mother Jones, E magazine, Co-op America Quarterly and Real Money as well as some smaller publications like Earth Island Journal, More than Money and HopeDance.

The good news continues for GreenMoney this year. In March, Wisdom Media announced that the GreenMoney Journal was the recipient of their "2004 WorldView Award" for our efforts benefiting humanity. Other recipients in 2004 include Hazel Henderson, Wayne Dyer, Newman's Own Organics, Ed Begley, Jr. and the Rudolf Steiner Foundation. We are very honored to be in such company and we thank Wisdom Media for the recognition.

We close with an important note: In this year of election, please register and vote for John Kerry. For so many reasons this year's presidential election is critical to building a future in which we can all live. We'll have more on this in our fall issue. Register to vote, donate your dollars or time, and get involved. A great place to be involved with individuals, groups and companies helping to create a positive future is at the GreenFest event in Washington, DC on September 18 & 19, 2004.
